Andreia Resende
First year undergrad Geology Student at UFMG
Scientific Trainee MOBILE 2021

Mining technician at IFMG – Campus Congonhas and graduate student in Geology at UFMG. Main interest areas within Geosciences are directly linked to Plate Tectonics and its implication in the formation of sedimentary basins, especially those that give rise to Petroleum. With the Mobile Project, Andreia intends to enter the “world” of research and contribute to the expansion, construction and dissemination of geoscientific knowledge.

Gabriella Velloso
Undergrad Geology Student at UFMG
Voluntary Scientific Trainee MOBILE 2021

I’m an undergraduate student at the Federal Univesity of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Brazil. I’m in the 3rd year of the course and my interests are petrography and geochemistry.

Thomaz Vidal
Voluntary Scientific Trainee MOBILE 2021

Thomaz is in the last year of his undergraduate degree in geology (UFMG), participated in the Ciencias sem Fronteiras program where he studied at Universität Tübingen for one year. He has already participated in scientific initiation with a focus on the geochemistry of the São João da Chapada Formation, belonging to Espinhaço Supergroup. The areas of interest that have grown over the course and after a few internships are hydrogeology and geological mapping.

Gabriel Bertolini
Post-doc MOBILE 2021

BSc in Geology (Unisinos) and PhD in Geoscience (University of Aberdeen and Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul dual degree),  I am in interested in continental clastic system sourcing and deposition, applying multiproxy provenance tools as stratigraphy, U-Pb geochronology, heavy minerals and petrography analysis. Furthermore, I also work with rock reservoir properties and its relationship with basinal processes or interactions, like volcano-sedimentary features in diagenesis and its petrophysical output.
